The clay settles. The green goes quiet in the last light. And somewhere between the final point and the walk back to the clubhouse, the body starts asking for something the game didn't give it — time to recover.
That's what THIA Restore : Lounge is for.
Built inside THIA Wellness @ HKGTA, the Lounge is a dedicated recovery space for the athletes who train and compete here - juniors chasing rankings, patrons playing their weekly round, coaches on their feet all day. It isn't a spa bolted onto a sports club. It's recovery built for the way HKGTA actually moves.
Why HKGTA
THIA Wellness partners with clubs that already understand discipline - where technique is coached, repeated, and refined. HKGTA's players and members bring that same rigor to how they train. Recovery deserved the same standard, not an afterthought squeezed between the court and the car park.
The Lounge is the result: a space designed specifically for HKGTA's rhythm, sitting inside the Academy itself, decorated and finished as HKGTA's own — with THIA responsible for the protocols, the equipment, and the standard of care behind every session.
The Space
Step through the door and the courts fall away. Circadian lighting shifts with the time of day, sheer curtains soften the room without closing it off, and a signature scent and a wall of biophilic plants replace the smell of a gym with something closer to a held breath. Air is filtered continuously through hospital-grade IQAir HEPA systems — invisible, but felt in how easy the room is to breathe in.
Every session is self-guided. On arrival, Patrons are handed an iPad that walks through each step in English, Traditional Chinese, or Simplified Chinese - no queue for staff, no rushed instruction, just a clear, private routine at your own pace. A THIA team member is always close by, present without hovering - the boutique standard of care, delivered without a boutique-sized staff.

The match doesn't end at the final point, and the round doesn't end at the eighteenth hole. THIA Restore : Lounge is where HKGTA's athletes close the loop — twenty quiet minutes or more, that make the next session on court or on the green a little more possible.
